Hermetic Training · For Mia customers

Every new event coordinator, trained by the AI they will work with.

Hermetic builds each venue its own private training site. How Mia works at your venue, your house playbook, and practice before the first real call. Mia narrates all of it on video, and every fact comes from your own Tripleseat, menus and rules.

Private, password protected, and never indexed by search engines.

The problem

Turnover is the tax on private-event sales.

A new coordinator learns the house by osmosis: which rooms combine, what the December minimum is, how to describe the wine list, what the AI already told the guest at 9:40 on a Saturday night. Until they know, inquiries slow down and promises get missed.

Training tools do not fix this. An LMS gives you a blank course builder and leaves the content to you.

"An LMS gives you a blank course builder. Mia arrives with the course already made, about her, from your own Tripleseat."How we describe it on demos

What is inside

Two tracks. One site for every new hire.

The first track teaches how to work with Mia at your venue. The second teaches the house itself. Both are built from your configuration, your private dining packet and your website.

Track 1

Mia Training

  • How she works. Mia's three steps on every inquiry at your venue.
  • Who handles what. Which parts Mia owns and which the coordinator owns.
  • The promise. Pick any day and time. See what Mia told the guest and the deadline the coordinator now owns.
  • House rules and quick answers. Your rulebook in plain language, plus the answers Mia already gives.
  • Conversations. Real-style threads with "why she said this" and "your move."
  • Your tools. The Hermetic login, texts and daily recap, and the Hermetic tab inside Tripleseat.
  • First-week checklist and a certification with a printable certificate.
Track 2

Your Venue Training

  • Our story and the house way. A timeline, a one-minute version to say out loud, and your principles translated into "say this, not that."
  • Rooms and menus. A room finder by party size; every room with a line to say it like, capacities, menus and policies.
  • The food and the wine. Menu headings decoded with phonetics, signature dishes, a four-part way to describe any wine, and a pairing finder.
  • This week nearby. Stadium dates, street closures and conferences, with what they mean for arrivals and bookings.
  • Draft your first reply. Occasion, headcount and format in; a best-fit room, priced menu and an editable email out, in the sales manager's voice.
  • Knowledge check and a printable pocket card.

Try a piece of it

Two of the site's own tools, with sample rules.

On your site these run on your venue's rules and your hosts. Here they run on an example venue so you can feel how a coordinator learns.

The promise

An inquiry arrives. What did Mia tell the guest, and what do you owe them?

Pick the day and time the inquiry came in.

Within seconds, Mia replied

What Mia promised the guest

Your deadline

Example venue rules. Yours are taken from your Mia configuration, word for word.

Practice a moment

Priya is planning a 40-person retirement dinner. She just asked about the room fee.

"I saw the Terrace Room online. Is there a rental fee on top of dinner? We are keeping a close eye on budget."

Hidden worry: she is comparing you to a hotel that quoted "no room fee."

A sample drill. Your hosts are built from your own inquiries, and every option is checked against your house facts.

Practice, not just reading

They practice the hard moments before a real guest is on the line.

1

Practice hosts

Simulated event hosts, each with an occasion and a hidden worry. Three decision moments per host, three options each, and the stronger line after a miss. Every option is checked against your house facts.

2

The practice line

A real phone number. The coordinator calls the host back, a voice agent picks up in character, and a coach reads the transcript against your facts. The scorecard covers warmth, discovery, house knowledge, the hard moment and the next step.

3

Ask Mia

A bar at the bottom of every page answers in Mia's voice from the site's own content: the split, the promise, rooms, capacities, prices, policies, the wine list. Each answer links to the section it came from. It will not hand out quiz answers.

4

Certification

Twenty questions, sixteen to pass, and a certificate in two halves: working with Mia, and knowing the house. The house knowledge check is ten more.

5

Refresh your training

When something changes, a badge appears. Mia walks the coordinator through only what changed, then a three-question re-check confirms they are current.

6

For owners and GMs

A separate owner view with its own password: coordinator readiness, Mia's handoffs, the book, and a storefront check that compares your menu and business facts across OpenTable, Google, Yelp and the delivery apps.

How it gets built

From your systems to a finished site. You review, then share one link.

1

We read your setup

Mia's configuration for your venue, rooms and capacities from Tripleseat, your menus and private dining packet, and your public website.

2

We build and fact-check

Every price, capacity, drink, dish, hour and rule is checked against your documents. Conflicts in your own setup get surfaced to you instead of taught to a new hire.

3

Mia records the tour

Scripted from your facts, on video, in your venue's own voice. Every section has a "Mia on this" button.

4

You share the link

Your logo, your palette, one shared password. Nothing about a trainee is stored on a server; progress stays on their device.

Multi-location groups get one site with a location switcher: the Mia track is shared, the house track follows the location.

Versus a training platform

An LMS sells the shell. This arrives with the course.

Already in use

Live today for a multi-location Italian steakhouse group and a Washington, DC restaurant group.

Each site was built from the venue's own Tripleseat, menus and rules, with Mia on video at every stop and a practice line the coordinators can call from their own phone.

Common questions

Details

Who is it for?

New event coordinators and sales managers first. The owner view is for owners, GMs and group leadership.

Where does the content come from?

Your Mia configuration, Tripleseat, your menus and packets, and your website. If a fact is not in your documents, it is not on the site.

Is it public?

No. Each site is password protected, encrypted behind that password, and set to never be indexed by search engines.

Does it need a login for each person?

One shared password per venue, and a separate one for the owner view. Progress, checklist and best scores stay on each person's device.

What happens when our rules change?

We publish a refresh. The badge appears, Mia walks through the change, and the re-check confirms the team is current.

Do we have to use Tripleseat?

Tripleseat gives the fastest build. We also work from your documents, your website and your Mia configuration directly.

See it with your own rooms

Bring a new coordinator's first week. We will show you what it looks like with Mia teaching it.

On the demo we walk through a live training site, then talk through what yours would contain.
